Overview: Electrical Safety Mats (ASNZS 2978)

Duratuf Electrical Safety Mats (AS/NZS 2978) are available in two classes – Class A (Thicker Mats) for general purpose application & Class B (Light Weight) for use on flat indoor surfaces only. Both types are intended to protect personnel where circumstances involve the possibility of contact with conductors or electrical equipment whose voltage does not exceed 650 V a.c. r.m.s. or d.c.

These electrical insulating mats are manufactured as per the AS/NZS 2978:1995 standard set by the Joint Standards Australia/New Zealand Committee EL/4. We guarantee standard conformity to ensure protection from electrical shock. The manufacturer’s Test Certificate is provided along with the supply certifying the same.

Duratuf is a reliable and well-known supplier of electrical safety mats used as switchboard matting in front of electrical switches and control panels. They are also available in finely ribbed top and textured bottom, or with both sides anti-skid textured surface. Along with the AS/NZS 2978 Rubber Mats we also supply the IEC 61111 Electrical Rubber Mats and ASTM D178 Switchboard Mats suitable for Electrical Control Panels having working voltage from 1.0 KV to 36.0 KV.
